Hands On Ayurvedic Learning

This immersion will Cover

The Essential Qualities of An Ayurvedic Practice

Ayurveda is an ancient practice that allows us to take the journey of self-discovery and realignment, practitioner and client alike. This course offers insight into essential qualities of an Ayurvedic practice such as attentive listening, trauma-informed care, and conscious communication – each giving rise to heightened awareness in our own lives. Building upon these lessons learned over time during the retreat will help practitioners find balance within themselves on a deeper level than ever before!

Developing Multi-week Programs for Individual Clients

So what exactly is a Rasayana, anyway? According to the ancient Ayurvedic texts, the word "Rasayana" means "that which supports rasa”, or life essence. By taking part in this program, participants will gain an enhanced understanding of the complex process that goes into crafting a complete Rasayana health plan. Through both interactive discussions and case studies, they'll be guided to create personalized client offerings using Rasyana’s physical health, psychological wellness, and spiritual enhancement. The retreat setting provides students with invaluable opportunities for peer learning too!

Ayurvedic Meal Planning For Rasayna

As a practitioner of Ayurveda, building an ayurvedic meal planning for rasayna for your client can be a thoughtful and caring process. When developing a meal plan for rasayna, which aims to nourish both the physical and spiritual body, it's essential to consider the types of foods that will provide optimal nourishment and balance while also considering the client's personal beliefs and experiences. Taking a spiritual approach can elevate the meal planning process and help your client connect with food on a deeper level that can enhance their overall wellbeing.

Rasayana Formulation Making

Making Rasayana Herbal Formulations is an age-old practice, that connects us to the profound power of nature. This ancient wisdom can be used to restore health, balance, and healing within our bodies – both physically and spiritually. Beginner-friendly processes and guidance are available to ensure herbal formulations can be made with ease and safety. With a greater understanding of herbs and the subtleties of mixing them together, you can create remarkable remedies uniquely tailored to your client’s needs.

Our Signature Pada Abhyanga Practice

Pada abhyanga is an ancient Ayurvedic practice that involves massaging the feet and lower legs to promote circulation and detoxification. This highly beneficial therapy has been used for centuries as a form of rasayana, or rejuvenation, in Ayurvedic medicine. By stimulating the reflex points in the feet, Pada abhyanga can provide a deep sense of relaxation and grounding, while also helping to strengthen the immune system and enhance overall well-being. Whether you are seeking to alleviate stress and anxiety, reduce inflammation, or simply improve your overall health, learning Pada abhyanga can be a powerful tool in your wellness toolkit.

Other Details

Daily Yoga

This yoga practice is a special invitation to explore and cultivate your inner vitality. Pranayama, or breathing exercises, bring awareness to the life-force energy that lies within us - known as prana! Embedded in this divine strength are five 'vayus', each carrying its own distinct purpose and power. Through alignment of postures (asanas), we can activate these vayus; allowing for deeper connection with ourselves on an energetic level while experiencing freedom from physical limitations. Ultimately, Yoga awakens balance between body & spirit – propelling us towards true health & wellbeing at every stage of the journey.

Nature Walks

Southern Utah's snow canyon and red mountains provide the perfect backdrop for spiritual and mindful nature walks. The stunning red rock formations and expansive views that encompass these beautiful landscapes are awe-inspiring, and can genuinely rejuvenate one's mind, body, and soul. Taking a stroll through nature can remind us of the beauty and complexity of the world, and help us connect with our environment on a deeper level.
